With the help of EU funding, Vilpros Industry is boosting its competitiveness by investing in digital technologies

This year, Vilpros Pramonė launched the project “Implementation of Digital Technologies in the Company,” funded under Measure No. 03.3.1-LVPA-V-854 “Digitalization of Industry LT” of Priority 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” of the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Program. During the project, investments are planned in automated metalworking equipment, a welding robot, ERP, and packaging systems. Thanks to this equipment, the company will fully modernize its production processes, which will increase production productivity, improve product quality, and reduce production costs. It is expected that upon project completion, errors in the production process will decrease, order planning and fulfillment will become more accurate, and production capacity will increase.
