DW25 double flues are a stainless steel system designed for the efficient removal of combustion products from various heating devices. The system can be installed inside or outside the building, making it suitable for both new construction and renovation projects. DW25 is designed for gaseous, liquid and solid fuels, while the version with silicone gaskets is suitable for gaseous or liquid fuels and positive pressure systems. This allows you to choose a solution based on the type of device, operating mode and specific project requirements.
Technical features and materials
The DW25 system is designated by several EN 1856-1 codes, including T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G100, T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G50, T450-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G100, T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G60 and T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G150, and the version with silicone gaskets – EN 1856-1 T200-P1-W-V2-L50XXX-O50. The operating temperature, depending on the system marking, reaches up to 600 °C, and the sealed version can operate up to 200 °C. The system is adapted to humid operating conditions. The inner tube is made of stainless steel EN 1.4404, and the outer tube can be made of stainless or painted stainless steel. The wall thickness is 0.5 mm for dn from 80 to 200 mm, 0.6 mm for dn from 210 to 550 mm, and 0.8 mm for dn 600 mm. The system has 25 mm of injected mineral wool insulation.
Durability and safety
The DW25 natural draft version is soot ignition resistant, while the version with silicone gaskets is not soot ignition resistant. The distance to combustible materials depends on the system marking and installation conditions, for example, solutions with ventilated ceiling, insulated ceiling or fully enclosed construction with ventilated fire partitions are specified. This makes the DW25 system suitable for projects where it is important to accurately assess not only the type of chimney, but also its installation unit and operating environment.
