Round flue liners SW

Reliable solution for existing chimney renovation

SW flue liners are a stainless steel system designed for lining existing chimneys and for efficient removal of combustion products from heating devices. This category is especially relevant in renovation projects when it is necessary to modernize an old brick chimney and adapt it to current operational requirements. The SW system is designed for operation in natural draft mode, and the version with silicone gaskets is also suitable for positive pressure systems. This makes this product group suitable for both standard solutions and more complex cases where wider adaptation to the type of device is important.

Technical features and materials

The SW system for natural draft mode is designed for gaseous, liquid and solid fuels, and the version with silicone gaskets is designed for gaseous or liquid fuels. The system is marked EN 1856-2 T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G(500), and the sealed version is EN 1856-2 T200-P1-W-V2-L50XXX-O(100). Operating temperatures reach up to 600 °C in natural draft systems and up to 200 °C in positive pressure systems. SW inserts are made of stainless steel EN 1.4404, and the wall thickness depends on the diameter: 0.5 mm, when dn is from 60 to 200 mm, 0.6 mm, when dn is from 210 to 550 mm, and 0.8 mm, when dn is from 600 to 900 mm. The natural draft version is resistant to soot ignition, while the sealed version is not resistant.

Wide selection of elements for different installation situations

A big advantage of SW round inserts is the wide range of elements, which allows the system to be adapted to various installation situations. The system includes insert segments L-1 m and L-0.5 m, 85° and 45° elbows, elbow with purge, rotating elbow, purge with equal branch with blind, segment for smoke analysis, damper, compression coupling, transition, centrifugal transition and side condensate collector. This choice of components allows not only to form a straight insert, but also to more accurately solve situations of displacement, connection, maintenance and diameter change. That is why the SW system is a practical choice not only for simple, but also for more technically complex renovation projects.

Flexible adaptation in renovation projects

When renovating existing chimneys, it is especially important to have a system that allows for precise adaptation to the actual geometry of the shaft and the connection point of the heating device. The SW system provides a lot of flexibility for this, as it allows for the combination of different segments, elbows, flues and transitions according to the needs of a specific object. In addition, the system also provides for a transition from SWC to SW, and when switching to the DW system, DW elements from the NLB connection group are used. This helps to maintain a consistent system logic and makes it easier to integrate SW inserts into a wider chimney solution.

Why choose SW

If you are looking for a solution that combines stainless steel quality, wide application, renovation-friendly design and a wide selection of elements, round inserts SW is a very strong choice. It is a system that allows you to reliably update an existing chimney and form a technically consistent combustion product removal channel according to the needs of a specific project. When choosing a specific solution, it is important to evaluate the type of heating device, draft mode, chimney geometry and necessary additional elements.
