On January 30, 2015, the annual awards ceremony for the fastest growing small and medium-sized businesses in the country, "Gazelė 2014", was held.

In the last comparative year - 2013 - a company meeting the competition criteria had to operate profitably. "The turnover of Gazelles, compared to 2010. and 2013. grew by at least 20 percent. Transparency and publicity are no less important than the growth criterion. That is, the company must pay taxes prescribed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania in a timely manner and follow the principles of good business practice in its daily activities. Therefore, the winners were checked especially carefully. Whether the companies pay taxes in a timely manner, whether the average wage they pay is not lower than that usually paid by companies in that region engaged in similar activities, was assessed by the competition partner, the State Tax Inspectorate. Another important criterion is how much the company itself wants to publicly talk about its activities and share experience.
