Technical features and materials
The DW50 system is designated by several EN 1856-1 codes, including T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G50, T450-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G80 and T600-N1-W-V2-L50XXX-G100, and the version with silicone gaskets is EN 1856-1 T200-P1-W-V2-L50XXX-O50. The operating temperature, depending on the system designation, is up to 600 °C, and the sealed version can operate up to 200 °C. The system is adapted to wet operating conditions. The inner tube is made of stainless steel EN 1.4404, and the outer tube can be made of stainless or painted stainless steel. The wall thickness is 0.5 mm when dn from 80 to 200 mm, 0.6 mm when dn from 250 to 550 mm, and 0.8 mm when dn from 600 to 700 mm. The system has 50 mm of injected mineral wool insulation, making it suitable for projects where thicker insulation and stable operation are important.
Durability and safety
The DW50 natural draft version is soot ignition resistant, while the version with silicone gaskets is not soot ignition resistant. The distance to combustible materials depends on the system marking and installation conditions. Solutions with ventilated ceiling and insulated ceiling are indicated, and the minimum distances start from 50 mm, 80 mm or 100 mm, depending on the selected system variant, and 50 mm for the sealed version with silicone gaskets. Such a range of technical parameters allows the DW50 system to be used where it is important to accurately assess the performance class of the chimney and the installation unit.
