Connecting flue pipes SWC
An aesthetic and reliable solution for connecting a heating appliance
Technical features and materials
The SWC system is marked EN 1856-2 T600-N1-D-Vm-L50xxx-Gxx1 NM, is designed for operation up to 600 °C, belongs to the N1 natural draft class and is suitable for operation in dry conditions. The system is made of painted stainless steel EN 1.4404. The wall thickness is 0.5 mm for dn from 120 to 200 mm, and 0.6 mm for dn from 230 to 250 mm. SWC is resistant to soot ignition, and the minimum distances to combustible materials depend on the diameter of the pipe, for example from 375 mm, with a diameter of 120 mm, to 750 mm, with a diameter of 250 mm.
Key elements for different installation situations
A big advantage of SWC connecting flue pipes is the practical selection of elements, which allows the system to be adapted to different installation situations. The range includes connecting flue pipe segments L-1 m, L-0.5 m and L-0.25 m, 90°, 45° and 30° elbows, 90° elbow with drain, 90° tee, drain with cover, side condensate collector and transition from SWC to SW. Such a set of components allows not only to form a simple connection, but also to more accurately control changes in direction, predict service access, or resolve the transition to another system.
Compatibility, aesthetics, and system logic
The SWC system stands out for combining technical reliability with a neat appearance. Smooth and almost invisible joints allow for a cleaner result, and a wide selection of elements helps maintain a unified system logic throughout the entire connection node. The transition to the SW system provides more flexibility in designing the entire smoke extraction solution, so SWC can be used not only as a single connecting pipe, but also as a coherent part of a larger system. This is important when it is necessary to combine aesthetics, function and compatibility of components in one solution.
Why choose SWC
If you are looking for a solution that combines aesthetic connections, stainless steel quality, soot ignition resistance and installation flexibility, SWC connecting flue pipes are a very strong choice. This is a system that allows you to form a technically reliable and visually neat connection between the heating device and the chimney. When choosing a specific solution, it is important to evaluate the type of heating device, connection geometry, operating temperature and the required additional system elements.
