A total of 82 companies from 15 sectors of the national economy have been nominated for the “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2011” awards, considered the most prestigious recognition of companies by the business community in the country. A two-tier panel of experts and a commission representing various industrial and business sectors, having summarized the experts’ conclusions, decided to award 83 gold and 15 silver medals to the selected companies’ products and services.
On December 16, Irena Degutienė, Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, presented awards to business leaders at the country’s parliament.
Despite its short history, UAB “Vilpros pramonė” is proud to have already won its second gold medal in the “Lithuanian Product of the Year” category. This year, the company won the gold medal for its product: flexible stainless steel chimney liners. At the awards ceremony held at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the award was presented to Mr. Algirdas Vėgėla, Chairman of the Board of UAB Vilpros Pramonė, by Irena Degutienė, Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
