On 20 December, in the Government building, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius and the President of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists Robertas Dargis presented awards for a competition to company managers.
This year, 82 companies from 15 sectors of the country's economy have been nominated for awards in the annual „Product of the Year in Lithuania” competition, across ten evaluation groups. A two-tier commission of experts, representing various industrial and business sectors, after summarising the experts„ findings, decided to award 71 gold and 11 silver medals for companies” products and services. UAB "Vilpros pramonė" was awarded a gold medal this year in the construction and building materials industry group for its manufactured concentric chimneys/ducts.
